Newsletter 25 October 2017 - What is Working Well at Bakewell

Many thanks to parents and carers who have engaged and responded to the recent 2017 Parent Opinion Survey. Your input and feedback serves to assist us in our thinking and planning for 2018.

Bakewell staff recently engaged in strategic planning and reflecting on 'what is working well at Bakewell?' and 'what we can do better or improve?' We thank parents and staff for their feedback and input into our strategic priorities.

From the feedback,  it is clearly evident that 'Teacher Effectiveness' is and will be a priority in 2018. We recognise teacher effectiveness and teacher quality that makes the difference to students; their learning and their achievement.

Recently, we have participated in alot of advertising specific to the recruitment of quality teachers to Bakewell School. This is closely linked to the priority of 'Teacher Effectiveness'.
