The school follows the NT DECS Special Education Policy – Provision for Students with Disabilities and Impairments in Northern Territory Schools in partnership with Student Services and parents. This partnership involves a balance of rights and responsibilities for all parties concerned ie. student, teacher, Student Services personnel, Special Education Support Assistant and parents.
 
Students with special needs are identified and assessed and will receive assistance relative to the level of their need. Students who require significant adjustments to the school and/or learning environment may go through the process of an Educational Adjustment Plan (EAP).
 
In all cases our aim is to maximise the success of each individual in our school community through a collaborative, inclusive approach. A Special Education Teacher provides a program to meet this aim.
